Making a Book Trailer or other Movie presentation

Picture
The first step of a book trailer or any other movie presentation is to know your subject and feel passion about it. Look closely at your resources, think creatively,  brainstorm  and then devise a plan to bring it to reality.   Take a look at the tips and advice as you make your presentation.

Step #1

Brainstorming & Visualizing it!
Look carefully at your rubric & at samples of other's work.  Think critically at how effective they were and how you can learn from their skills, and even their mistakes (to avoid).

Without censoring yourself.... brainstorm and visualize the project hat you want to make.

Step #2

Planning,
Researching & Scripting it!
After you have brainstormed and visualized the project, then dig into the book & find specific examples (research) to capture details in your presentation.  Next, write down your BEST IDEAS and ORGANIZE them.  Use the storyboard to sketch out the script and the visual elements you want.

Step #4
Showing it!

Make sure you  proofread and do a peer review so that you turn in a really great product.

Showing your work in school, as a student your work can include other peoples creative work as long as you respect it by citing it.  But we encourage you to be creative and try to make original work.

...what if...

You want to show your work to a bigger audience?

Please follow guidelines for respecting & citing others original work, just as you would expect others to respect yours.    Copyright laws are here to protect any creator so that no one will steal your work and claim it as their own.
